Persons can acquire Antiguan & Barbudan citizenship and a passport through one of the following options:

  1. Donating to the National Development Fund
  2. Investing in real estate 
  3. Investing in a business 

​The overall process includes the following steps:

  1. Pre-screening of clients and file preparation once the pre-screening is successful. The relevant forms can be viewed here.
  2. File submission. This includes the relevant forms, as well as the passport application form. This should be accompanied by 10% of the government processing fee and the full due diligence fee
  3. Issuance of an "Approved in principle" letter by the Citizenship by Investment Unit
  4. Payment of remaining government fees and investment option
  5. Issuance of Certificate of Citizenship by Registration & Passport

In addition to the funding of the selected investment option, additional fees are payable by each family member. These comprise of the following:

Government Fee

The fees applicable are stated in the table below. 10% of the government fee is payable (and non-refundable) upon submission of your application with the balance due following receipt of an approval letter sent to the authorised agent who submitted the application. A government fee is charged for each family member.

Due Diligence Fee

All applications are subject to rigorous due diligence to ensure that only meritorious applicants are granted citizenship of Antigua and Barbuda. The due diligence fee is charged for each family member above the age of 11 years as prescribed in the table below. The due diligence fee is payable upon submission of the application by the appointed agent and is non-refundable.

Passport Fee

Each family member is required to pay the sum outlined for issuance of their passport.

USD25,000 for a family of up to four persons

USD15,000 for each additional family member for families with more than four persons

Government Fee - Real Estate & Business
USD25,000 for a family of up to four persons
USD15,000 for each additional family member for families with more than four persons

Due Diligence
The due diligence fees are as follows:
Principal Applicant: USD$7,500
Spouse (if applicable): USD$7,500
Dependents 0 - 11 years: USD$0
Dependents 12 - 17 years: USD$2,000
Qualified Dependents 18 years & over: USD$4,000
Passport fee – $300 per person
