Persons can acquire Antigua & Barbuda citizenship and a passport through one of the following options:

  1. Donating to the National Development Fund - USD100,000 for a family of up to four persons or USD125,000 for a family with five or more persons
  2. Investing in an approved Real Estate development with a minimum investment of USD200,000
  3. Investing in an approved Business as a sole investor (USD1,500,000) or joint investor (USD400,000)
  4. Investing in Education (University of the West Indies)

​The overall process includes the following steps:

  1. Pre-screening of clients and file preparation once the pre-screening is successful. 
  2. File submission. This includes the relevant application forms, as well as the passport application form. This should be accompanied by 10% of the government processing fee and the full due diligence fee
  3. Issuance of an "Approved in principle" letter by the Citizenship by Investment Unit
  4. Payment of remaining government fees, passport fees and investment option
  5. Issuance of Certificate(s) of Citizenship by Registration and Passport(s)

In addition to the funding of the selected investment option, additional fees are payable by each family member. These comprise of the following:

Government Fee

The fees applicable are stated in the table below. 10% of the government fee is payable (and non-refundable) upon submission of your application with the balance due following receipt of an approval letter sent to the authorised agent who submitted the application. 

Due Diligence Fee

All applications are subject to rigorous due diligence to ensure that only meritorious applicants are granted citizenship of Antigua and Barbuda. The due diligence fee is charged for each family member above the age of 11 years as prescribed in the table below. The due diligence fee is payable upon submission of the application by the appointed agent and is non-refundable.

Passport Fee

Each family member is required to pay the amount outlined below for issuance of their passport.

Schedule of Fees

Government Fee - NDF, Real Estate & Business

  • USD30,000 for a family of up to four persons
  • USD15,000 for each additional family member for families with more than four persons

Government Fee - Education

  • Included in the investment amount for a family of six
  • USD15,000 for each additional family member for families with more than six persons

Due Diligence
The due diligence fees are as follows:

  • Principal Applicant: USD$7,500
  • Spouse (if applicable): USD$7,500
  • Dependents 0 - 11 years: USD$0
  • Dependents 12 - 17 years: USD$2,000
  • Qualified Dependents 18 years & over: USD$4,000
