PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Effective August 1, 2017 the Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda has made changes to the processing fee structure as follows:

  1. Under the NDF Investment Option, processing fees have been reduced to USD$25,000 for a family of up to four (4) persons and incremental payments of UDS$15,000 will be added to this fee for each additional dependent for families consisting of five (5) persons or more.  
  2. Under the Real Estate and Business Investment Options, processing fees have been reduced to USD$50,000 for a family of up to four (4) persons and incremental payments of UDS$15,000 will be added to this fee for each additional dependent for families consisting of five (5) persons or more. 
  3. Individuals from restricted countries, who migrated before the age of maturity and/or have maintained permanent residence for no less than 10 years in Canada, The United States of America, The United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and have no economic ties with these restricted nations, will be eligible to apply for the citizenship by Investment program here in Antigua and Barbuda.


Restricted Countries are as follows: Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan & Yemen.

Antigua and Barbuda has an established Citizenship-by-Investment program that enables you to directly acquire citizenship and a passport through one of three investment options. The investment options under the Antigua & Barbuda CIP program are outlined below:

  1. Donating to the National Development Fund (NDF): An investment is to be made by the applicant of USD$100,000 for families of up to four (4) persons & USD$125,000 for families consisting of five (5) persons or more.
  2. Investing in Real Estate: A minimum investment of USD$200,000 is to be made by the applicant in an approved real estate project.
  3. Investing in a Business:

            -  A single applicant can propose to make an investment in an approved business of an

               amount no less then US$ 1,500,000 on their own behalf.

            -  An application can be made by at least two individuals proposing to make a joint     

               investment in an approved business with a minimum investment amount of US$

               5,000,000, with each of those applicants individually agreeing to the contribution of at  

               least US$400,000 to the joint investment.


In addition to the investment made, government processing fees and due diligence fees also apply. Government processing fees are as follows:

  • NDF: USD$25,000 for a family of up to four (4) persons and incremental payments of UDS$15,000 for each additional dependent for families consisting of five (5) persons or more.  
  • Real Estate & Business: USD$50,000 for a family of up to four (4) persons and incremental payments of UDS$15,000 for each additional dependent for families consisting of five (5) persons or more. 


The due diligence fees are as follows:

  • Principal Applicant: USD$7,500
  • Spouse (if applicable): USD$7,500
  • Dependents 0 - 11 years: USD$0
  • Dependents 12 - 17 years: USD$2,000
  • Dependents 18 years & over: USD$4,000
